This website elateliers.com is operated by DESIGN EL trading as ël ateliers (“ël ateliers”, “we”, “us”, “our”), an S.A.R.L located and registed in Beirut.

 

SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website and any purchase of products from ël ateliers. By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

PRODUCTS AND CRAFTSMANSHIP

At ël ateliers, we believe in the integrity of materials. All our pieces are crafted from 18k Gold or 925 Sterling Silver; we do not use plating. Every gemstone used is also natural.

Every piece is handcrafted in Beirut by skilled artisans and supports a local ecosystem. Please note that:

a.      Photos are illustrative; slight variations in finish are a testament to the artisanal process.

b.      925 Sterling Silver is a living material that naturally develops a patina or darkens over time. This evolution is a characteristic of the metal and not a defect.

Certain products may be available exclusively online. We reserve the right to amend, update, or withdraw any information, pricing, or product availability at any time without notice.

 

PRODUCTION TIMELINES

Our ready-for-delivery pieces can be delivered in Lebanon through Wakilni within 5 working days. All other pieces are made to order to minimize waste. Production only begins after your order is confirmed.

 

PRICING AND PAYMENT

We accept online payments via Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay in USD through a secure third-party payment gateway.

Payment data is encrypted. We do not store your full payment card details. You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase or have parental consent.

 

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

1.      Processing

We ship from Beirut, Lebanon, Monday through Friday. Orders placed after 4:00 PM (EET) will be processed the next business day.

2.      Domestic Shipping (Lebanon)

a.      Carrier: Handled by Wakilni.

b.      Fees: A flat delivery fee of $5 USD applies (not included in the jewelry price).

c.      Timeline: 2 to 5 business days.

 

3.       International Shipping

Status: Worldwide shipping is coming soon. At this time, we only offer delivery within Lebanon. We do not ship to international addresses or P.O. boxes.

4.      Address and Delivery Responsibility

a.      You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

b.      ël ateliers is not responsible for stolen packages or unretrieved shipments once they are confirmed as delivered by the carrier.

 

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES

Cancellations or changes to an order are only possible before you receive a dispatch confirmation email. Once the order has been handed to the carrier, it can no longer be canceled.

All sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for any reason, including change of mind, sizing preferences, or hygiene reasons (specifically for earrings).

If a piece arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt to report the issue.

a.      Damaged Packaging: Before acknowledging receipt from the courier, please check that the parcel has not been opened or damaged in transit. If the packaging is compromised, you are entitled to refuse delivery and should notify us immediately.

b.      Resolution: In the case of a verified defect, we will work with you to repair or replace the item at our discretion.

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP)

1.      Ownership

ël ateliers holds the exclusive intellectual property rights to all designs, sketches, models, and Website content (text, images, logos, and layouts). Visuals are credited to Lara Zankoul and Choucri Bechir.

2.      Restrictions

Purchase of a product grants ownership of the physical item for personal use only. You are strictly prohibited from:

a.      Reproducing or replicating the designs.

b.      Commercially exploiting or reselling the designs.

c.      Attempting to register the designs as your own trademarks.

 

3.      Personalization

Requesting a personalized piece (initials, dates, etc.) does not transfer any IP rights to the customer. The design remains the property of ël ateliers.

 

PRIVACY & SECURITY

We use your information solely to process transactions, deliver your orders, and contact you regarding your purchase.

1.      Data Usage

Your details (name, contact, and address) are shared only with our secure third-party payment gateway and our delivery partner (Wakilni) as necessary to fulfill your order.

2.      Consent

We will only use your information to share brand updates if you have given us your explicit consent.

3.      Security

We do not store your full payment card details; all transaction data is encrypted by our payment processor to ensure your information remains secure.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND GOVERNING LAW

1.      Liability

ël ateliers is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Website. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order.

2.      Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, unless mandatory consumer rules apply.
